Information You Submit
Search forms send the name, phone number, or address you enter to the third-party provider that supplies the results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. When you contact us, we receive the details you choose to send and use them only to answer your message.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create ordinary server logs containing an IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. Aggregate use helps us maintain the site and learn which resources visitors use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and, when applicable, advertising measurement.
What We Do With This Data
We use this limited data to run the site, diagnose faults, measure traffic, and improve content. We neither sell visitor lists nor create individual user profiles.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to City of Shoreline portals, King County and Washington records offices, library collections, or outside search tools. Their privacy policies govern information submitted on those sites. The same distinction applies to sponsored search results supplied by another company.
Who Might See Your Data
Hosting and support vendors process server logs for us. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatically collected data described above. We disclose information when valid legal process requires it and do not otherwise share visitor data.
How We Protect Your Data
An encrypted connection delivers the site. Server logs are kept only as long as necessary for the purposes stated here. Since visitors do not create accounts, we hold no site password or account profile for you.
Users Under 18
The site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor submitted such information, and we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
Your location may give you rights to access, correct, or delete personal data held by a website. Washington's My Health My Data Act, chapter 19.373 RCW, creates rights for covered consumer health data, including consent and deletion protections. Because we retain little information, a request will usually involve checking our contact mailbox and server logs and removing responsive data. Use the Contact page to submit one. Public records maintained by Shoreline, King County, or Washington agencies remain under the relevant custodian's control, so correction or removal requests for those records must go to that office.
Updates to This Policy
Any revised policy will appear here. By continuing to use the site after an update, you accept the changed policy.
